A few hours of your time can make years of difference.
There are many ways that Adults can be involved in the Scout Group family, and you don’t have to be Bear Grylls!
We need your help so we can deliver a challenging and exciting programme, and we expect that most families will help out around once a term, by signing up to our Helper Rotas or by helping at an event.

2.4 children? No I’m happier with 24!
From building bug hotels, to baking buns – there is bound to be something that gets you excited to be involved! Whether you’re happier helping on our parent rota, or taking responsibility for running a fundraiser we need as much help as you can offer, and we promise you’ll enjoy yourself so much you’ll want to do it again!

If you are ready to help on a more regular basis, you could become a Section Assistant and help with Beavers, Cubs or Scouts.
With award winning training and one-to-one support, we make sure that each one of our volunteers gets to make best use of their skills and talents. It’s something different from the norm, and that why a lot of people like it. You don’t have to commit to every week, and we’ll be with you every step of the way.
